Athletics are an integral part of the education at Mercy High School. The Mercy coaches assist the student athlete with her spiritual, mental, emotional, social and physical growth and development. Through Mercy’s Athletic Program the student athlete learns to develop her own physical abilities. In addition, the student athlete learns self-discipline and control, the value of teamwork and mutual respect, the importance of commitment and dedication and an appreciation of personal worth and accomplishment.
Mercy’s ultimate goal is to help prepare each young woman to be successful in our highly competitive society. We want each athlete to use the Mercy experience to impact the community to which she belongs. We want the student athlete to leave Mercy and be able to say that she is proud to have been a part of Mercy’s Athletic Program.
Mercy Monarchs participate in a variety of sports, and our athletic events are filled with Mercy Girls cheering their classmates on to victory! With many of our sports, there are multiple teams to try out for, and being a small school, you will have lots of opportunities to participate.
In an effort to provide our students with a variety of athletic opportunities we offer the following athletics at Mercy High School:
